Sandra McVeigh, writer and communications specialist, is founder of Spectria, LLC. Formerly, she serviced and managed numerous accounts at a Pittsburgh-based marketing agency assisting clients in the building product, trade association, plastics and non-profit sectors. During her tenure there, she developed and executed strategic marketing and communications initiatives encompassing national media relations campaigns; new product promotion; media buying; advertising; direct mail programs; identity package and print collateral development; feature story writing; event planning; and tradeshow management, among others. A freelance magazine writer and former freelance writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Sandra possesses an M.A. in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Association of Professional Communication Consultants and has taught business communication courses at both Duquesne and Penn State Universities.
